How long does shipping take?

Is assembly required?
No tools are needed. Our collapsible tunnels and playpens pop open in seconds, and catio kits click together in minutes. First-time assembly may take a little longer while you get used to how the mesh wraps over the frame — reviewers tell us it gets much easier on the second attempt.
How do I clean it?
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Most of our collapsible tunnels and playpens can be wiped down easily; fabric parts can be hand-washed and air-dried. Always let everything dry fully before folding it away.
Can I connect this tunnel to a playpen or another tunnel?
Yes, if both products use zipper connections. Our connectable tunnels attach to the Hexagon Cat Playpen and to other Kittyus tunnels via heavy-duty zippers, so you can build a custom play system — no tools required.
Will my cat actually use it?

Is it easy to fold and store?

Is this tunnel suitable for larger or heavier cats?
Our tunnels are designed for kittens and average adult cats. If your cat is over roughly 12 lb or a large breed, check the tunnel diameter in the specifications above — one reviewer of a comparable tunnel noted it felt small for cats above that weight. Bigger cats usually still enjoy the 10ft and 5-way models with more room.
Will it survive daily rough play?
Our tunnels use reinforced wire springs and durable polyester fabric. That said, all soft tunnels eventually wear with heavy use — a long-time Amazon reviewer of a similar 3-way tunnel said the wires finally wore through the fabric after five years of foster kittens, which he considered excellent value. Replace the tunnel when wires poke through.
Does it have a smell out of the box?
No chemical smell. Reviewers of comparable fabric cat products specifically noted "didn't smell like chemicals" straight out of the package. If you are sensitive, a quick air-out for a few hours before first use is always fine.
Can my cat chew through the mesh?
Our mesh is tear-resistant, but determined chewers can damage any soft mesh given enough time — one Amazon reviewer of a comparable tunnel reported their cats chewed through and escaped. If you have a chewer, supervise use and check the mesh regularly; trim nails and provide a scratching alternative to reduce wear.
Is this sized for adult cats or just kittens?

Does the 10ft tunnel connect to the 5-way or other Connectable tunnels?
Yes. The 10ft tunnel uses the same connector system as the Connectable Tunnel series, so it joins the 5-way tunnel, the connector pieces and the Catio kit's tunnel ports. It is not compatible with the 3PC Furniture Tent's zippers — those two lines use different connection types.
Is it too big for a small apartment?
The 10ft tunnel folds down into a compact carry bag when not in use, and when assembled it bends around furniture rather than needing a straight 10-foot run. It works best when you can place it along a wall or under a table, but if space is tight, our 5-way tunnel is a more compact alternative.
Will my cat actually use a long tunnel?
Most cats do — reviewers report cats running through the full length within days. If your cat is hesitant, put a treat or toy at the far end on the first few uses, and leave one end open so they never feel trapped.
What if parts are missing or damaged on arrival?
Contact us at support@kittyus.com within 48 hours with your order number and a photo. We will ship the missing or damaged parts free of charge — no need to return the whole product.
